English Intervention
Room:  503
.5 Credit Per Semester

Grade Level: 9-12
Hello, My name is Marsha Bradley, the RTI
English Interventionist for Arlington High School.

What is RTI?
  • A multi-tiered system that uses data to identify specific student need and match appropriate instructional strategies with that student.
  • Student progress will be monitored frequently to determine if instruction needs to change.

English RTI is designed to help your student with any English skill he/she may need extra support.  All of the skills that we go over in class are based on the individual student's needs.  Success will be monitored in a variety of ways on his/her effort as noted on the Class Participation Rubric:  Journal Reflections Writings, Questions/Answers, Essay Writings, and Tests.  My goal is to also assist in the research paper and several other writings, including literary analysis throughout the year.  Also, periodically, my classes will review basic language/writing skills (specifically grammar, mechanics, vocabulary and usage via No Red Ink and additional programs) in order to reduce current English Language gaps.

Student Success is Doing Your Best!
